Harbour Radiology is a reputable non-corporate radiology practice with branches in North and South West Sydney. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients in a professional and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking a Casual or Permanent Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team in North Sydney.

Another position is available in the Lane cove.

To be considered you must have:

  • A high level of professionalism, excellent telephone manner, strong computer skill and abilities in dealing with various people in a complex environment.
  • Experience in a medical or radiology practice will be highly regarded.
  • A caring attitude that enjoys being part a team and a genuine care for patients.

About the role:

  • Training provided by a friendly and supportive team.
  • Answering the phone, welcoming and managing patients appointment
  • Booking appointments and providing information about the radiology procedures to patients.
  • Ability for learn fast and accurate typing.
  • Greeting of patients on arrival of appointment
  • Communication with medical practices, liaising with referrers, and patients.
  • Managing invoicing/receipting including Medicare billing.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

  • ASAR Accreditation (essential).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography.
  • Ability to perform high-quality and efficient ultrasound imaging services.
  • A patient-centred approach to care.
  • Willingness to learn and expand your skill set.
  • Strong team orientation and the ability to work well with others.
  • Experience in or willingness to train student sonographers.
