As an Operations Coordinator, you will join a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative team to support our specialist radiologists as they report on urgent CT and MRI images for patients based in the UK.
You will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, handling inquiries and providing support. In this role, you will also take on a variety of administrative tasks while collaborating closely with our highly skilled team of Operations Coordinators to ensure seamless support for our radiologists and clients.
We focus on people development, and you will have various opportunities for personal as well as professional growth. Our specialist Training & Recruitment team will provide full induction training, allowing you to start your Everlight journey with confidence. We'll then guide you through your development at a pace that suits you, upskilling you into different areas within the operations team over several months.
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Operations Coordinator to join us in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne on a casual basis.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised with customer service experience. You should demonstrate evidence of adaptability, IT proficiency and strong teamwork.
You should also have a proven track record of delivering results under pressure and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks.
We are looking for problem solvers, who will never hesitate to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. If you think you can use your initiative to deliver solutions and assist our clients and radiologists across the world, we want to hear from you
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise between clinicians, radiographers, and radiologists based around the world
- Provide administrative support to radiologists who report routine and urgent radiology exams
- Provide frontline support to our clients – including doctors and radiographers across the world by ensuring patients' reports are available to clinicians in a timely manner
- Maintain patient information accurately and confidentially
- Manage various IT systems and troubleshooting when required to avoid delays
Skills:
- Due to the urgent and fast-paced nature of this role, punctuality, reliability, and clear communication are essential
- Be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work independently as well as being part of a supportive and diverse team
- Be proactive and able to prioritise and demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Be organised with the ability to work to deadlines and possess some administration experiences
- Be able to confidently build and maintain supportive relationships with radiologists, operations colleagues, and clients
- Be a methodical thinker with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel at an intermediate level, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple new software programs
- Enjoy working with people and want to have fun as part of a team
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology or willingness to learn this.
- Have strong background within the healthcare sector or customer service sector.
Casual agreement details:
This role is offered on a casual basis due to the nature of the workflow. At this stage, we expect to be able to offer approximately 15-30 hours per week. While we currently anticipate that there will be regular shifts available, we aim to offer shifts that align with business needs and staff availability, therefore the number of hours worked each week may vary.
Please take this into consideration when deciding if a casual position is the right fit for you.
Place of work:
At Everlight Radiology, we currently operate a hybrid working model where you may have the opportunity to work from home as well as from our offices. In Australia, our offices are located in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne.
Please be aware that this is a true hybrid arrangement, and there will be an ongoing expectation to work a portion of your time from an Everlight office, even after receiving home-working equipment.
Initially, you will be required to work exclusively from an Everlight office for a minimum of three months. Following this, and subject to eligibility, you will receive the necessary equipment to work from home. However, working from the office will remain an essential part of your role and subject to company policy.
Company background:
Everlight Radiology is a global teleradiology group providing critical support to health services and their patients throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Ireland. Due to ongoing growth in demand, we are expanding our Australia and New Zealand based global teams of Operation Coordinators.
Our multiple, global offices allow us to operate 24/7, 365 days a year – it is never 'after-hours' at Everlight Radiology We care about what we do, we value our employees, and we aim to excel in all aspects of our business.
We are always looking for talented individuals to join us, and we are an equal opportunity employer. We are proud of the diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for our people.
Application process:
If your initial application is shortlisted, the application process consists of 3 stages, which includes:
- Stage 1: Skills Assessment
This timed skills assessment is conducted via Microsoft Forms and is designed to assess your attention to detail.
- Stage 2: Telephone interview
A brief 10-15 minute telephone call within your chosen window. This will allow us to get to know you, your understanding of the business and position, and to gauge initial suitability for the role.
- Stage 3: Teams Video Interview
If successful in your skills assessment and telephone interview, you will be invited to a formal interview via a Teams video meeting, this will last approximately 30-45 minutes.
Please note that we will not be able to consider your application for a Teams video interview unless you complete the skills assessment before the deadline of close of business on Friday 17th October.
If you are successful in the skills assessment, we will invite you to schedule a telephone interview for the following week.
