We are seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Financial Officer to support the Finance Team.

About You:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:

  • Currently studying or recently completed Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, Accounting, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of financial processes (e.g., invoicing, reconciliations).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn..

Your Role:

  • Respond to financial enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist with finance-related inboxes and process purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
  • Reconcile credit/debit cards and petty cash.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and declined transactions.
  • Maintain EFTPOS, Uniform Shop, and fundraising receipts.
  • Assist with payment plans, family account updates in Edumate, and debtor communications.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, archiving, and reception backup.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Business Manager as needed.
