Role Overview
Seeking a seasoned Commercial Furniture Business Development Manager to spearhead growth and project delivery in Queensland. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in commercial furniture, with a particular emphasis on government projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Cultivating and managing relationships with architects, designers, developers, and builders.
- Leading projects from initial consultation through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within local and state government sectors.
- Collaborating with internal design and logistics teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial and government sectors.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Provide expert advice on furniture solutions, space planning, and design considerations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to inform strategic decisions.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the commercial furniture industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing government projects and understanding procurement processes.
- Established network within architectural, design, and construction communities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Existing contacts within local and state councils.
- Experience with educational or healthcare fit-outs.
- Familiarity with 3D design tools and space planning software.
