VET Trainer and Assessor – Individual Support & Ageing Support

Location: Sydney, NSW

Employer: Australian Nursing and Healthcare College (ANHC)

Employment Type: Casual / Contractor

Salary: $50 – $65 per hour (commensurate with experience)

The Australian Nursing and Healthcare College (ANHC) , a new and progressive Registered Training Organisation currently completing registration, is seeking passionate and experienced VET Trainers and Assessors to deliver:

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)

CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

We are looking for two qualified trainers who are dedicated to delivering high-quality education and who genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of learners entering the aged care and disability sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, compliant, and interactive training sessions (classroom and workplace-based)
  • Conduct assessments in line with ASQA and training package requirements
  • Support and mentor students to achieve competency and professional confidence
  • Maintain accurate and timely training documentation and records
  • Collaborate with academic and compliance teams to continuously improve training quality
  • Stay current with industry practices and VET compliance standards

Essential Requirements

  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent as recognised by ASQA)
  • Relevant qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (e.g. CHC43015, CHC33021 or higher)
  • Minimum 2 years of current industry experience within the aged care or disability sector
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
  • Strong knowledge of competency-based training and assessment principles
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
