Your New Role

An attractive opportunity has arisen for a full-time Patent Assistant to join our highly successful Engineering group in Sydney or Melbourne. 

Your Key Responsibilities   

Working with our database and template system (including Inprotech, iManage, Outlook)Data entryProof readingCreating and amending documents Managing attorney reminders Ad hoc administrative tasks such as organising meetings and managing emails and official correspondencePreparation of invoicesFiling of patent applicationsWorking with the IP Australia and IP Office of New Zealand on-line databasesOther ad hoc duties as required

Your Training and Skills 

To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you have:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailSelf-confidence, and an ability to exercise your initiativeAn ability to work in a team and independentlyA respect for established processes and proceduresA solid knowledge of MS Office and ideally Inprotech
