The Role

As Maintenance Officer, you'll keep the presentation, safety, and functionality of our Sydney properties in tip top shape.

This role calls for a proactive all-rounder with great communication skills an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.

With three properties across Sydney (Glebe, Bondi and Surry Hills) – flexibility and organisation are key.

Who We Are Looking For

You've got a couple of years' experience under your belt and get the ins and outs of what's needed in a hospitality / accommodation setting.

You a problem-solver, think on your feet and get things done without fuss.

Day to day you'll:

  • Carry out minor repairs including painting, patching, lighting, fixtures, plumbing, and furniture.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property teams.
  • Support upkeep across rooms and shared spaces.
  • Monitor and maintain building systems (air conditioning, fire safety, electrical, plumbing).
  • Support setup and pack-down for events or operational changes.
  • Keep communication open with property teams on maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with approved contractors for specialist repairs and compliance servicing.
  • Support with AFSS, fire, pest, HVAC, and lift service schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.

We'd love it if you had:

·      A valid driver's license

· years experience in a maintenance or facilities role (hospitality preferred)

·      A flexible schedule

·      Knowledge of WHS, building compliance, and fire safety systems.
