Allied Grain Systems is a national leader in designing and constructing grain storage and conveyor systems. Headquartered in Young, NSW, with a growing presence in Toowoomba, QLD, we are expanding our rural division and seeking a dynamic Rural Operations Manager to lead this growth.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on operational excellence, team development, and strategic expansion across regional markets.


Key Responsibilities

Team & Operations Management

  • Lead silo assembly and civil concreting crews across Australia.
  • Expand rural site installation capacity to meet future sales growth.
  • Oversee daily operations and scheduling of assembly teams.

Safety & Compliance

  • Uphold onsite safety standards for all rural projects.
  • Support compliance with Australian standards.
  • Maintain quality assurance for silo installations and concrete civils.

Logistics & Inventory

  • Manage international orders and logistics for silos and grain handling equipment.
  • Coordinate onsite logistics and monthly stocktakes.

Project Oversight & Reporting

  • Deliver rural projects on time and within budget.
  • Report to the General Manager on KPIs and project progress.
  • Plan for future growth and increased demand.

Strategic Growth Opportunities
  • Drive initiatives to double farm sector sales (silos, augers, conveyors) within 3–4 years.
  • Expand market share in South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
  • Support the development of the Toowoomba office and its operational capabilities.

You're a results-driven leader with experience in rural operations, construction, or agricultural infrastructure. You thrive in fast-paced environments, have a strong understanding of logistics and compliance, and are passionate about building high-performing teams.
