The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Advisor to join the Master Drilling Australia team based in Perth. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday working from the Perth office, with flexibility of working from home one day a week. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring the workforce thrives, to be successful, you must have a passion for Human Resources and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Recruitment:
· Collaborate with line managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
· Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best talent for our organisation.
· Oversee a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Workforce Planning:
· Analyse current workforce trends and identify future staffing requirements.
· Develop workforce plans that align with our strategic objectives.
· Drive initiatives to address skill gaps and talent development.
· Support the design and implementation of performance management processes.
· Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting conversations.
Remuneration Reviews:
· Collaborate with compensation specialists to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages.
· Conduct market research to benchmark our compensation practices.
· Assist in the administration of salary reviews and bonus programs.
Employee Relations:
· Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leaders on a wide range of HR matters.
· Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, promoting a positive work environment.
· Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Strategic Initiatives:
· Work closely with the broader team to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
· Contribute to the development of innovative HR programs and policies.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
· Monthly reporting on HR matters such as performance , culture , cost / time facts
Skills and Experience Required
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR best practices.
· Minimum 1-2 years of HR experience required.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
· Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· High attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Flexible in your approach
· Ideally, you will also have had exposure to cost reduction strategies with financial and commercial acumen.
· Ability to handle and work under pressure.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn concepts and systems quickly.
· Proficient computer skills with experience using software including, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Planner.
· Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team with a demonstrated ability to manage one's own time.
· Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Exercise tact, discretion and maintain confidentiality.
· Valid work visa required for this position.
