The PMWI team have over 25 years' experience within the mining services industry and provide innovative solutions to their clients using a highly skilled workforce in the execution of mining services including civil projects, conventional mining, and crushing & screening operations.

About the role

PMW Industries is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic team, providing support to the Operations Manager. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Midland, WA office and play a crucial part in delivering the organisation's HR strategy and initiatives in line with company policies and procedures.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing expert HR advice and support to managers, coordinators, and employees across the organisation
  • Engaging with internal and external business leadership team to understand their HR needs
  • Managing employee relations, including investigating grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Working with business stakeholders to address and enhance employee engagement and development
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Maintaining and improving HR policies, processes, and systems

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within the mining services industry
  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR information systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships
  • Proven track record in managing employee relations cases and implementing HR initiatives
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

Essential experience & qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations, or a related field
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen
  • Current Australian C Class Driver's License
  • Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months
  • Full Australian working rights
