As our business continues to grow, we are excited to offer a full-time permanent position for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team at Xtreme Services Group, located in Deakin. We are currently seeking talented and experienced Accountant to become a vital part of our dynamic team, contributing to our goal of creating memorable and authentic security experiences.
About the Role:
As our Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting financial reporting, payroll, taxation, budgeting, and internal control processes to ensure compliance, transparency, and sound financial decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards
 - Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payment processing and collections
 - Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations, and monitor daily cash flow
 - Manage end-to-end payroll including superannuation, timesheets, leave entitlements, and compliance with Fair Work and taxation regulations
 - Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
 - Assist in developing and applying accounting and budgetary policies
 - Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
 - Conduct financial investigations, audit, and provide insights on business operations, and compliance.
 - Provide expert advice on taxation, compliance, and also support capital investment planning.
 - Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and internal controls.
 
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role (industry-specific experience is a plus)
 - Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
 - Proven ability to deliver high-quality payroll processing and financial operations in a fast-paced environment
 - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
