The Hotel Grand Chancellor is currently looking for a Full-time permanent experienced Chef de Partie who is looking to grow and develop their career.
Own transport is essential for the position as some shifts commence at 5.30am.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' kitchen experience
- Proven experience in banquets, a la carte', breakfast and buffets (highly desirable)
- Experience in hotels (highly desirable)
- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience in maintaining a high standard of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Sound knowledge of OH&S in kitchen operations and food standards
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be reliable, punctual and a team player
- Have own transport and able to travel to work
- Have the ability to work at a fast pace with strong attention to the finer details
- Remain calm under pressure
- Ensure food preparation, cooking and presentation are of the highest standards
- Have demonstrated experience to work independently
