Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia Hometime Full time $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Hometime is on the lookout for a motivated and resourceful part-time recruiter to help us source, screen and onboard high-quality housekeeping contractors and casuals across the Sunshine Coast. Your mission? Help us build a strong and reliable housekeeping team before the busy Christmas period.

You'll be working closely with our Sunshine Coast Operations Manager, finding and vetting housekeepers who are ready to hit the ground running with trial cleans.

Part-time, 6–12 hours/week

Spread across 5 weekdays

What You'll Be Doing

Promote our openings

  • Actively post and refresh job ads on platforms like Seek, Indeed, Airtasker, and Facebook Jobs to attract interested housekeepers.

Engage in Facebook communities

  • Monitor local and cultural community Facebook groups (e.g. Filipino, Thai, Brazilian, Indian expat groups) to find potential candidates and promote our housekeeping opportunities.

Mine Airtasker for talent

  • Search for and approach experienced cleaners on Airtasker and similar forums.

Manage applicants quickly

  • Respond to interest promptly, conduct screening calls, and evaluate cleaning experience and availability.

Explain the opportunity

  • Clearly communicate the role's expectations, pay structure, and onboarding steps.

Help get them signed up

  • Support applicants in completing the paperwork and getting set up as a Hometime contractor.

Schedule trial cleans

  • Coordinate trial cleans to assess new housekeepers before adding them to the regular roster.

Your Goals

  • Source 2+ new housekeepers per week, fully vetted and ready for trial work.
  • Build a reliable and high-quality cleaning team before the Christmas peak season.
  • Ensure housekeepers understand the Hometime Welcome Ready quality standard and expectations from day one.

Who You Are

  • You're proactive, responsive, and comfortable working independently across multiple platforms.
  • You have experience recruiting or sourcing for casual, contract, or field-based roles.
  • You're digitally savvy, especially with Facebook groups, Airtasker, and online job boards.
  • You're a good communicator and confident on the phone.

Nice to Have

  • Experience recruiting in hospitality, cleaning, or gig economy roles.
  • Understanding of the Sunshine Coast's geography and local community groups.
  • Familiarity with compliance or contractor onboarding processes.
