ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our team at The Northbridge Centre (former World Trade Centre). The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dino's Alive experience, ensuring a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all visitors. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This person will serve as the point of contact on the production side of the Dino's Alive experience, supporting our Project Manager and Producer who are responsible for the experience. This would be a part-time freelance contract from July 2025 to November 2025 with a very likely extension to January 2026. Availability to work on weekends will be required. This role requires flexibility, creativity and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in live event production and a background in various technical aspects . The Operations Coordinator will work in conjunction with an Assistant Operations Coordinator, both will work together to split/provide coverage on site for all live dates. Important: This position requires having a business entity/registered organization/ being a self-employed sole trader.

You will:

  • You will be responsible for managing several aspects of onsite production (e.g., daily installation maintenance, venue presentation, onsite execution, opening and closing procedures)
  • Monitor and manage visitor flow to ensure a seamless experience
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure execution of event deliverables
  • Supervising staff onsite
  • Ensure each staff member is trained in their duties whether it is validating tickets, accommodating guests through experiences, or setting up the installations in preparation for each day's sessions
  • Handling ordering or purchasing for event needs (supplies, merch, and more) while focusing on keeping OPEX (budgets and operational expenditure for the events) low
  • Report weekly to Fever Originals Project Managers about the status of each event; including both the pre and post-event findings and feedback
  • Responsible for cleanliness oversight for the venue and actioning periodic checks.
  • Action event fixes and general maintenance promptly and liaise with the Production team and suppliers when escalations are necessary.
  • Assist in storage management within the building, including assisting with offloading and loading goods.
  • Running and providing support on-site for any marketing, PR, corporate, or VIP activities and experiences that take place in the venue.
  • Regular reporting on activity onsite (including Incident Reports).
  • Developing knowledge share of building-specific items, including fixes, procedures, operations, and best practices.
  • Liaise with technical support teams for maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Attendance at Management meetings where required.
  • Liaising with the cleaning company to ensure the on site facilities are clean and well kept, as well as stocking facilities yourself where required.

Preferred Qualifications

You have a track record of successfully produced events with strong data analysis, oral and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset. The role requires a mix of events coordination and operational experience. Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment/events industry. You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail-oriented while looking around corners, and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in the event production industry
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of an event in an organized and efficient way
  • Understanding of technical production requirements
  • Huge appetite for learning and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • Have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships
  • Able to communicate with suppliers, clients and guests
