LGC Traffic Management is excited to offer an opportunity for a customer-focused, organised, and enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our team. The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring seamless coordination of bookings and scheduling for traffic management services. As the primary point of contact for our clients, this role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, bookings, and service updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Actively address client concerns and provide timely resolutions to issues.
Booking and Scheduling:
• Coordinate and manage bookings for traffic management projects in alignment with client requirements.
• Ensure all resources, including personnel and equipment, are allocated efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and updates in the scheduling system.
Operational Support:
• Liaise with field staff and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Respond promptly to last-minute changes, cancellations, or urgent requests.
• Assist with monitoring project progress and addressing on-site challenges as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Strong background in customer service, preferably within the traffic management, construction, or related industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client requests and schedules simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
Certifications:
• Construction Industry Induction Card (white/blue card)
• Traffic Control (TC) + Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) ticket highly regarded.
Working Conditions:
• Alternating weekly day shift.
• Scheduled roster managing the out of hours phone.
• May require working outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on business requirements.
