Acurio Health is a respected privately‑owned healthcare group, dedicated to providing exceptional services to their customers across their group. Emphasising quality, safety, collaboration, inclusivity, and continual improvement, Acurio Health are now seeking a Quality Manager to sit across both The George Centre and Sydney Day Hospital.
The Opportunity
The Quality Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of quality and risk systems across Acurio's facilities. This position ensures compliance with accreditation standards and supports a strong clinical governance framework whilst championing evidence-based practice.
Working closely with executive and clinical leadership, the Quality Manager will drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance their safety-led, values-based organisational culture. This role will be responsible for:
- Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the organisation-wide Quality Management System
- Maintaining a centralised Risk Register and driving risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage internal and external accreditation and audit processes
- Facilitate quality and clinical governance committees, and provide education and training
About You
The preferred candidate will be an accomplished Registered Nurse or Midwife with a strong background in healthcare quality management or accreditation. You will:
- Be an analytical thinker, with a proven capability in problem solving and reporting
- Have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to empower the organisation.
- Bring demonstrated experience in policy development, incident management and root cause analysis
- Work across a geographically dispersed region and mange competing priorities from various stakeholders.
- Have previous experience within the private hospital sector will be advantageous alongside previous leadership of a facility through accreditation with management of an external audit.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Quality Manager will enable best practice clinical care across the group. The role provides a unique platform to influence the broader group and provide expert advice to the executive team. With The George Centre having already completed two accreditation rounds, with no recommendations and Sydney Day Hospital due in late 2026, this is a pivotal time for the successful candidate to be able to address any gaps and embed robust systems.
