About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join a leading organisation in the sustainable packaging sector. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, this is a standalone role, with full accountability for all Quality and Compliance aspects for our products.

You'll be responsible for driving product quality, compliance, and certification standards across the supply chain — ensuring every product meets both customer expectations and environmental commitments.

This role is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys both hands-on execution and strategic oversight in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product inspections, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with internal standards and certifications (FSC, HACCP, ABA, APCO).
  • Manage audit and certification processes to maintain 100% readiness for internal and external reviews.
  • Investigate and resolve product quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain supplier declarations, MSDS, and compliance records.
  • Ensure all imported products meet relevant food safety and environmental regulations.
  • Support sustainability reporting and product stewardship initiatives.
  • Manage supplier and product compliance data within NetSuite and certification databases.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams — Procurement, Marketing, Operations, and ESG — to uphold product integrity and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Packaging, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance or compliance within packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and packaging legislation.
  • Proven track record managing certifications (FSC, HACCP, ABA, APCO).
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with ISO 9001/14001 systems and Lean Six Sigma (desirable but not essential).
