About the Role
As a
Pre-Sales Technical Consultant
, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by bridging the gap between customer needs and technical solutions. You will be joining our Managed Services Provider (MSP) team with-in our digital services division. Working closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, design tailored managed service solutions, and present compelling proposals that demonstrate value and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Discovery
- Collaborate with sales team to understand client business challenges and technical requirements.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and assessments.
Solution Design & Proposal Development
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective managed service solutions (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking).
- Create solution architecture diagrams, service descriptions, and pricing models.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
Technical Expertise & Support
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical input.
- Produce Statements of Works (SOW) for project management team.
- Liaise with internal delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with product and service teams to stay updated on offerings and innovations.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings and delivery models.
Requirements, Skills & Experience
Collaboration will be central to your success. You will be a bridge between sales, technical teams, and customers.
- 5+ years' proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role within an MSP or IT services environment.
- Strong understanding of managed services across cloud (Azure, AWS), networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience with solution design tools, proposal writing, and pricing models.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft 365 exposure (Intune, Autopilot, Azure Virtual Desktop, MDM for iOS & Android)
- Azure (infrastructure and functional services)
- Microsoft 365 Security, Compliance & Purview

- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Relevant Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, ITIL) are highly desirable.
- Adaptability and willingness to continue learning and developing certifications.
