Project Manager - Commercial Buildings

Due to the commencement of several new commercial projects in the coming months, we are looking to add another project manager to our growing team. With a strong focus on innovative and sustainable building practices we have a growing pipeline of work with immense scope for progression to senior management within our growing business.

Projects

  • Commercial new-build projects
  • In-house Architects and designers
  • Government, health, education, child care and social housing projects
  • Projects $5M-$50M
  • Ongoing pipeline of work $200M+

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle
  • Write construction programs
  • Manage project budgets
  • Provide timely status reports to stakeholders
  • Deliver projects on time and budget
  • Mentor CA's and wider project teams
  • Reporting on progress to senior management

Must Have Requirements

  • minimum 5+ years of industry experience with commercial builders in Australia
  • Project management experience working with a
    head contractor in Australia
    essential
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Melbourne subcontracting market
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and desire
  • Previous JOBPAC experience seen as a bonus
