We require a Operations Support Assistant to join our Wagga-based Microbiology team. This is an entry-level role, and involves preparing and testing samples using the relevant processes and methods.

Duties may include:

  • Preparing and grouping samples for testing in the microbiology laboratory,
  • Media preparation,
  • Complying with Symbio Laboratories quality, safety and other systems,
  • Sample pick up and registration,
  • Housekeeping and general laboratory duties.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Qualifications in microbiology and/or a laboratory science or related field would be desirable,
  • Ideally, a Certificate II in Sampling and Measuring, or a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
  • Flexibility to work rosters that meet business demands. This is essential as our laboratory operates 7 days per week.
