About the role

The Patricia Giles Centre for Non-Violence (PGCNV) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing and Communications leader to drive our marketing and community engagement portfolio.

We're looking for a driven communicator with a passion for social impact and a proven ability to boost visibility and build lasting stakeholder relationships.

In this key role, you'll lead bold campaigns that elevate our brand and deepen engagement, aligned with our mission and values.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the development and execution of a strategic Marketing and Communications Plan that strengthens our brand presence and supports organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver initiatives that promote PGCNV and support our strategic goals.
  • Ensure consistent, impactful, and brand-aligned messaging across all platforms and communications.
  • Manage and grow our digital presence, including social media channels, to engage diverse audiences and amplify our mission.
  • In partnership with other leaders coordinate high-impact events and community engagement activities that showcase our work, raise awareness and foster meaningful connections with stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a marketing and communications role, preferably within the not-for-profit or social services sector
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications, or related field of study
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different stakeholders
  • Strong creative and design skills, with the ability to create engaging visual content
  • Proficiency in using a range of digital marketing and communications tools, including social media platforms, website content management systems, and analytics tools
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies
  • Commitment to our vision, purpose and values.

PGCNV is a leading provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services in Perth's Northern Corridor. We offer crisis intervention and recovery support for women and children affected by FDV, including:

  • Safe accommodation sites
  • Outreach programs and support
  • FDV case management and advocacy in refuges and police stations
  • Counselling and therapeutic services to women and children.
