Our amazing Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Support Services Lead to join their teams and enable the effective and efficient delivery of cleaning, laundry, kitchen and preventative maintenance services to our facilities through the induction, training and supporting of staff in these roles. Working across both Residential Aged Care sites, this key role will provide streamlined resident-focused services.

The role of the Support Services Lead:

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure that the:
• RAAFA Aged Care Services living environment is maintained in a clean and tidy state to meet infection control, food hygiene standards and a positive aesthetic appearance of the facility.
• Provision of meals, drinks, and snacks for the residents in an environment that promotes food enjoyment.
• Residents home, their linen and personal items are maintained to an optimal standard.
• Update internal documentation and participate in the initiation and delivery of the requirements and documentation to support, establish and embed change.
• Comply with all RAAFA Manuals, Policies and Procedures including safety programs, infection control and manual handling.
• Ensure that work practices do not interfere with resident safety or comfort.
• Identify educational needs and resources relevant to support and train staff undertaking cleaning, kitchen, laundry and maintenance roles.
• Control the stock management processes within each Residential Aged Care Facility.
• Identify issues, risk and benefits of existing and proposed processes and solutions and outline service impacts and recommendations.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the Clinical and Management Teams.
