
Brand Product Manager

- As a Product Manager at Apollo Bicycle Company, you will oversee product management for the DT SWISS brand across the Australian market, ensuring that our product offerings remain relevant, customer-focused, and aligned with the company's brand ethos. You'll utilize data-driven insights to optimize product performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive profitability.
- You will be a key player in managing the product lifecycle—from selection and launch to discontinuation—while maintaining strong relationships with international DT SWISS stake holders. This position involves regular meetings with DT SWISS Asia Pacific and will require both interstate and international travel to meet with key stake holders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management: Oversee product management across multiple brands, ensuring products align with customer needs and company values.
- Data Analysis: Use data insights to conduct range and seasonal reviews, adjusting strategies based on product performance, sales data, and market trends.
- Pricing & Margins: Conduct margin reviews and negotiations with suppliers to maximize profitability while adhering to the buying plan.
- New Product Launches: Lead the communication and coordination of new product releases, ensuring timely launches and alignment with sales and marketing strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, etc.), suppliers, and external stakeholders to drive sales and optimize product offerings.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring optimal category performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Forecasting & Inventory: Develop accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans to ensure optimal stock levels and monitor category profitability.
- Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new business opportunities to make informed recommendations to the management team.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing team on strategies for new business, as well as with the digital team on EDM planning and content creation.

- Proven experience in product management, ideally within the cycling, sports, or retail industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- A customer-centric mindset with a focus on product relevance and market needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A solid understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Strong experience in sales forecasting, inventory management, and category profitability.
