About the role:

The head of unit MFM leads the multidisciplinary team providing high quality care to patients with complex pregnancies; supervising and training junior medical staff, midwives and sonographers

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the unit staff in providing inpatient and outpatient care for the full range of complex pregnancies,
  • Collaborate with Head of Unit Obstetrics to optimize models of care and policies and procedures
  • Training and supervising staff

About you:

  • Experienced MFM clinician
  • Previous leadership roles with excellent communication and teamwork
  • Education or research experience

We also operate Sunbury Community Hospital, Sunshine Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre, Melton Health and Community Services, Bacchus Marsh Community Health Centre, Caroline Springs Community Health Centre and Grant Lodge Residential Aged Care in Bacchus Marsh. Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
