We are seeking an inspirational educator to lead our Student Development faculty. As a pivotal member of our senior leadership team, the Head Teacher role is not just a job - it's an opportunity to contribute to the very fabric of our school's vision and values.
**What you’ll be doing**:
**Your mission?** To create educational pathways that resonate with the diverse needs of our creative Bradfield students.
- Coordinate the Certificate II in Workplace Skills program in Year 11 including a major project-based learning initiative, employability skills and work placement. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with community and industry
- Lead and foster the student understanding of careers and post school options
- Manage the student Learning Centre and college activities to support and develop our diverse student body
- Manage NESA requirements including disability provisions, HSC exams and assessments
The position also involves Stage 6 classroom teaching.
**About You**
- Tertiary teaching qualifications and Stage 6 experience in HSC
- Demonstrated leadership skills in delivering programs/projects, working with a diverse range of staff and students
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with students, parents, and Bradfield staff
- Strong administrative skills and experience in planning and management of faculty resources
- Experience in and/or detailed knowledge of TAFE NSW, Department of Education and New South Wales Education Standards Authority policies and procedures.
