About the role

This is a full-time Human Resources Advisor role within the Oreco Group, based in Childers, QLD. As a Human Resources Advisor, you will play a key part in supporting the company's HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services to the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing advice and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
  • Assisting with the implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practices
  • Partnering with managers to address HR-related concerns and implement solutions
  • Coordinating and facilitating employee learning and development programs
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercial HR solutions
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field would be ideal but not essential
