Client Coordinator / Administrator – Accounting Practice (Part-Time 3-4 days)

We are seeking a Client Coordinator / Administator to join our friendly and busy accounting practice in Gladesville on a part-time contract basis. This role offers flexible hours (eg 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3-4 days per week), making it ideal for someone returning to the workforce. This a permanent part-time role .

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a proactive, organised, and personable individual who can manage multiple administrative tasks while providing exceptional client support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients, managing enquiries, and ensuring excellent client service
  • Client onboarding, document management, and maintaining client records
  • Providing tax administration support, including lodgement management
  • Reception duties, phone management, and office/meeting room organisation
  • General administrative tasks such as mail handling, couriers, scanning, and banking
  • Communicating with third parties (ATO, ASIC, and other professionals)
  • Preparing ASIC/ATO forms, company incorporations, and trust setups
  • Supporting the accounting team with various administrative duties

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an accounting practice, bookkeeping firm, or similar administrative role an advantage
  • A professional and friendly manner
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar) preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to learn new software and adapt to new processes
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
