THE ROLE

Reporting to the Warehouse Superintendent, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the Maddington and site-based operational teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage warehouse operations to support the companies supply chain activities
  • Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure safety and performance standards are met
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
  • Collaborate with internal departments including but not limited to Maintenance, Production , Supply Chain and Accounts
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and customer service
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and traffic management
  • Manage warehouse security and freight manifests
  • Resolve invoice queries and ensure equipment pre-starts are completed

WHAT DO I NEED

  • Current "C" Class Manual Western Australian Driver's Licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry (required)
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Certificate in Storage and Handling of Dangerous Goods (desirable)
  • Chain or Responsibility certificate (desirable)
  • Certificate III in Warehouse & Distribution (desirable)
  • Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience with an ERP such as Pronto
  • Knowledge of WHS Legislation and Understanding of Dangerous Goods Legislation
  • Knowledge of stock storage requirements and industry products relevant to gold mining
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence teams effectively
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills, integrity, and ethical behaviour along with values that are aligned to the company's core values
  • A proactive and solutions-focused individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and strong organisational skills to respond effectively to changing priorities
