Position summary:

Warehouse staff participate in all warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse staff responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, checking, invoicing, receiving orders, general warehousing and working in a cool room environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, check, label, store)
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and your colleagues
  • Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met
  • Other duties as assigned
Competencies and experience required:
  • Sound computer skills
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to work in team and individual working environment
  • Pro-Active "can-do" attitude
  • Adhere to procedures
