About the role

This is an exceptional career opportunity with our Assurance and Advisory Services division, renowned for its excellence in external audit, internal audit, and IT advisory services. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our high performing external audit team, collaborating with an impressive and varied client portfolio. Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of SW audit clients
  • Provide leadership, support, and resources to empower team members to perform at their best
  • Plan and organise staff and resources to meet client and firm commitments
  • Identify and develop existing and potential business opportunities
  • Actively participate as a member of the Assurance Management Team
  • Meet Key Firm Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as team productivity, fees, write-offs, number of new clients, work in progress, and debtors
  • Research, write, update, and review sections of the firm's publications
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards, applying and sharing this knowledge
  • Attend manager meetings and conferences

Skills and experience

  • 7-12 years' experience in an Assurance environment within a Chartered or CPA accounting practice
  • Fully qualified CA/CPA professional
  • Strong technical proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
  • Skilled in reviewing client work and identifying issues and value-add opportunities
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet audit deadlines across multiple clients
  • Demonstrated staff leadership skills and experience managing teams
  • Professional presentation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
