About the Role

We're looking for committed, motivated and detail orientated people join our team.  Adding value for our customers through quality and timely service, this role brings together all things hardware and building materials to ensure our local customers receive the products and advice.

Responsibilities will Include
  • Processing of customer orders & quotes by phone and email
  • Preparing accurate quotes related to customer orders
  • Following up with builders to convert quotes to orders
  • Monitoring orders and ensuring delays are communicated to the builders
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy at all times
  • Undertake regular product training with market leading brands
  • Work as part of a network of people with their finger on the pulse knowing what is going on in the local building and construction market
Qualifications & Skills
  • The ability to converse with customers and build key relationships is paramount.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing customer orders and quotes or similar
  • Knowledge and previous experience in building materials and associated products
  • High level of computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy
  • Manual Vehicle Licence
