Enzed Tullamarine with our upbeat, driven team are seeking a hands-on and motivated Hydraulic Hose Technician to join us on a full-time basis.  Due to business growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid position within our Enzed Service Centre, incorporating both Service Centre and mobile onsite Hose Doctor work.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Remove and replace hydraulic/pneumatic hoses
  • Manufacturer custom fittings with lathes and braising
  • Mobile operation and service of customers
  • Using your problem-solving skills to pinpoint and resolve issues for customers as they arise

  • Have a natural Mechanical ability with good knowledge; a trade background with previous experience in Hydraulics is an advantage but not essential; mechanical aptitude with great problem-solving or fault-finding skills
  • Ability to undertake manual handling duties, including physical lifting.
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
  • A strong understanding of customer service
  • Good numeracy, verbal and written skills - Have good communication skills - Intermediate level fluency in English (read/write/speak).
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Be a team player
  • Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • A current Driver's Licence - have a manual car licence as a minimum requirement, and be prepared to provide licence history printout if required.
  • Have a reliable means of transport to and from work.

We provide:

  • TAFE accredited Parker Enzed training: provided after qualifying period, if required.
  • On-going in house training and continued support.
  • Base working week: Monday to Friday (8.00am to 4.30 pm)
  • After Hours: be prepared to work After hours and share After Hour  Call Outs with your fellow Hose Technicians.
  • A fully maintained service vehicle will be supplied for use during work hours.
