
Fire Service Technician

Leemark Fire is seeking an experienced and motivated Sprinkler Technician to join our Fire Maintenance Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established team, delivering high-quality fire protection services across a range of sites in Melbourne.
This role will see you carrying out preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance, minor works, and 24/7 emergency services for fire assets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and testing in line with Australian Standards, including Monthly, Six-Monthly, Annual, and Five-Yearly servicing
- Test and maintain fire systems including pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and portable fire equipment
- Complete flow tests on sprinkler and hydrant systems
- Provide servicing and repairs to fire protection equipment
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and support apprentices as required
- Manage job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time
- Participate in after-hours call-out roster
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in the fire industry
- Registered Sprinkler Fitter (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
- Current White Card
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Pay in line with the PPTEU EBA
