About the Job

Workshop based role at our Hallam facility, this role is responsible to carry out service and repair work for company owned Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), Telehandlers and Lighting Towers.

You will mostly be engaged in

  • Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications
  • Installing, testing, servicing, repairing, and modifying electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment and machines. May work with other types of equipment on occasion such as hydraulic hoses, small diesel engines, etc.
  • Conducting pre delivery inspections and assessing machines to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance of customer and JLG owned MEWP, Lighting Towers and Telehandlers.
  • Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by ANZ Standards and also by customer and/or site requirements.
  • Conduct three monthly and annual inspections of machines MEWP in accordance with JLG and ANZ industry standards.
  • General ad-hoc duties as required.

About You

To be successful, you need to

  • Be an experienced mechanic/technician ideally from within the access equipment or related industry,
  • Have a Mechanical trade qualification
  • Have ability to work in fast-paced environment,
  • Have experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications,
  • Have license for working at heights,
  • Have effective communication skills, proficient language, literacy and numeracy skills including the ability to write job notes, read safety information and machine manuals.
