Over the last 70 years Relationships Australia WA has been providing relationship support services for individual, couples, families and communities. We are a team of professional and highly motivated staff who are committed to enhancing the lives of communities, families and individuals and supporting positive and respectful relationships.

About the role

We are offering a permanent role of Customer Service Officer in the team at our headspace Bunbury office.  The position holder must also have some flexibility to work after hours as this position includes working 12:30pm to 8:30pm one day per week.  The current vacancy is 2-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception

· Reception duties including answering phones, booking and confirming appointments and entering of new client details on computer software.

· Meet and greet clients and centre visitors and provide exceptional customer service.

· Provide information to young people and their families presenting to headspace Bunbury, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner.

Administration

  • Assist the Centre Manager to identify, establish, improve and maintain administrative processes.
  • Ensure the operation, maintenance, security of record keeping systems and software are kept up to date and in good working order.
  • Assist in administrative functions for meetings and events, including catering, preparation of room and packing away after the event.
  • Maintain accurate financial records including petty cash, expenditure, reconciliations and requests for reimbursement.
  • Oversee all Medicare billing, batching, electronic claims and invoices from allied health private practitioners.

It is expected that at all times the person

  • Be respectful and hold a positive attitude towards the organisation, colleagues, clients and the general public.
  • Support the headspace vision and objectives and demonstrate the values of headspace.
  • Take reasonable care for their own health, stress and safety, and that of others in the workplace.

The position holder must:

  • Maintain a current check for working with young people, as per the WA state legislation.
  • Undergo a current and satisfactory WA Police Force National Police Check (upon request)
  • Maintain a current driver's license, and have access to their own vehicle.
  • Maintain eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Participate in a 6 month probationary period.
  • Participate in annual individual performance reviews and professional development planning.
  • Have some flexibility to travel, and to work after hours (including possible weekends and evenings)
