Description
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and oversee the organisation's financial planning processes.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting activities to support business objectives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Mentor and support the finance team to achieve organisational goals.
Profile
A successful Head of Financial Planning should have:
- A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
