Description

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and oversee the organisation's financial planning processes.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting activities to support business objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with operational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Mentor and support the finance team to achieve organisational goals.

Profile

A successful Head of Financial Planning should have:

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
