About The Role
As the
Team Leader ICT Systems and Support
, you'll manage the daily operations of Local Land Services' ICT service desk and bespoke business systems. You'll ensure systems run securely, efficiently, and in alignment with ITIL v4 principles and compliance requirements.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for incident and problem management, system optimisation, vendor coordination, and lifecycle support of critical applications. You'll also contribute to system enhancement projects and lead a small support team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused ICT services across the agency.

  • Lead the ICT help desk and make sure issues are resolved quickly and professionally
  • Support and improve key business systems to keep them running smoothly and securely
  • Guide and mentor a small ICT support team to deliver great service
  • Work with vendors and teams to manage system upgrades and fixes
  • Keep documentation and support records up to date and easy to follow
  • Help plan and test disaster recovery to keep systems prepared
  • Assist with setting up and rolling out new applications across the business

About You
You're a skilled ICT leader who thrives in a dynamic support environment and enjoys mentoring others. You understand the importance of compliance, service metrics, and user satisfaction. You work collaboratively, adapt to shifting priorities, and are comfortable making decisions that balance technical best practice and business needs.

To Succeed In This Role, You'll Bring

  • Experience leading an ICT help desk or support team, ideally in government
  • Good knowledge of ITIL v4, SLAs, and service workflows
  • Strong leadership and clear communication skills
  • Experience managing business systems, vendors, and service improvements
  • Ability to juggle priorities and meet targets
  • IT qualifications (or similar experience), ITIL v4 certification, and a current NSW Driver's Licence
