We're on the LookoutWe are seeking energetic and attentive Event Staff to join our dedicated team. If you thrive in dynamic environments and have a love for animals, this role could be your perfect match

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and packdown: Assist in setting up and packing down the spaces before and after sessions, including arranging equipment like yoga mats and puppy play pens.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Promptly address puppy accidents during sessions to ensure optimum cleanliness and safety of the rooms for all guests.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet participants upon arrival, manage registration and check-in, and answer any guest queries with a positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Puppy Safety: Keep a watchful eye on puppies during events to ensure their safety, particularly from any potential hazards.
  • Event Coordination: Help with the activations and ideas of creating engaging spaces and experiences for private and seasonal events.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Maintain readiness to address any emergencies that arise, having a first-aid kit and emergency contact information readily available.
  • Content creating: Creation of images and video material during the sessions, which can be used for content in the context of Puppy Yoga. A sense of aesthetic shots and a good smartphone camera are therefore essential.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in promotional activities at the event and encourage participants to engage with social media, capturing content when appropriate.
  • Transport and Logistics: Hold a QL driver's license and access to a car is preferred, to assist with transport needs for events and possibly moving supplies.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to decorate the venue depending on certain events e.g. Christmas
  • Have customer service or hospitality experience with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, and adapt to changing event schedules.
  • Quick thinker, able to effectively manage unexpected situations during events.
  • Collaborative team player ensuring smooth event operations.
  • Preferably holds a QL driver's license and has access to a car for event transport and logistics.
