The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Territory Sales & Account Manager to manage and grow our customer base across Victoria. Around 90 percent of our customers are based locally, and you will spend four days each week visiting clients and one day in the office working with the team, planning your week, and maintaining your CRM.

This role includes minimal travel outside Victoria, limited to one week per year to visit distributors, with the opportunity to expand to up to three weeks annually as our national operations grow.

You will manage approximately 160 trade accounts, focusing on building strong relationships, maintaining regular contact, and growing each account.

The start date will be flexible for the right applicant. A 2025 start or January 2026 start would be acceptable.


Key Responsibilities

Account Management and Growth (around 80%)

●     Build and maintain strong relationships with an established base of cabinet-making and joinery customers

●     Deliver exceptional service, manage quotes and orders, and identify opportunities to grow sales within each account

New Business Development (around 20%)

●     Identify and secure new customers through referrals, local networks, and proactive outreach

●     Present Janper's premium product range and the benefits of Australian manufacturing, quality finishes, and reliable delivery.

Distributor Support and Brand Training

●     Provide ongoing product training and sales support to distributors so Janper remains the first choice for our products

●     Work with distributor teams to help them sell confidently and position the Janper brand effectively

Territory Planning and CRM Management

●     Plan your weekly and monthly territory schedule to achieve activity targets and sales goals

●     Keep CRM records accurate with all visits, opportunities, and customer updates

●     Share market insights and feedback directly with the leadership team


About You

We are looking for a sales professional who:

●     Has experience in cabinet making, joinery, or building materials and trade sales

●     Can balance servicing existing customers with driving new business

●     Understands how to train and support distributors to increase sales

●     Is organised, proactive, and driven to achieve targets

●  Takes pride in representing a trusted Australian brand and building long-term relationships


What We Offer

●     Base Salary: $88,000 (incl Super)

●     Commissions and Incentives: Performance-based with achievable OTE of around $130,000 (incl Super)

●     Vehicle: Company car and fuel card or car allowance ($10,000–$15,000 per year)

●     Tools: Mobile phone, laptop, and full operational support

●     Work Schedule: 4 days on the road and 1 day in the office (Bayswater VIC)

● Travel: Limited to 1 week per year interstate, with the opportunity to expand to 3 weeks as operations grow
