Sunnyside House is a 40-bed, community-owned residential aged care facility dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. About the Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Care Manager to join our leadership team. This position has become available due to an internal restructure and is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a small, community-focused facility where your expertise and interpersonal skills will be truly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the clinical care team to ensure high standards of resident care
  • Oversee clinical governance and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting in line with the Aged Care Act
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Assist with staff education and mentoring to support best practice care delivery

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Experience in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of aged care standards and clinical requirements

Excellent knowledge of the Aged Care Act, including compliance, accreditation, and reporting requirements

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and team-oriented approach

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture
