Processing Officer

This is an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extensions.  The role is based in Parramatta Square and is 5 days a week in the office (Monday to Friday).

About the Role

As a Processing Officer, you will undertake a range of customer-focused administrative transactions to support the integrity of official records and identity verification processes.

This includes:

  • Administering restrictions and updates to customer records
  • Validating proof of identity (POI) documents for a variety of services
  • Supporting victims of identity fraud through secure customer record creation
  • Managing changes to customer details
  • Assessing non-standard POI documents with accuracy and care

You'll be part of a high-performing team working in a fast-paced, structured environment where attention to detail and service excellence are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify documents with national and international agencies
  • Maintain customer enquiry databases to support evidence-based decision making
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen identity fraud prevention
  • Accurately enter and manage customer data
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service under tight timeframes

  • Experience in high-volume customer service or administrative environments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems
