About the Opportunity

Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented professional looking to support junior medical officers (JMOs) in their training journey? Campbelltown JMO Unit are seeking a dedicated Director of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) Secretary to join our team and play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality medical education programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating education and training activities for JMOs, ensuring alignment with HETI and AHPRA requirements. You will work closely with Medical Administration, and clinical supervisors to support orientation, assessment processes, accreditation processes, and manage the prevocational education program. Your ability to manage data, maintain confidentiality, and liaise effectively across stakeholders will be crucial to success.

What You'll be Doing

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Director of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) and Medical Administration, ensuring the effective delivery of medical education and training programs for Junior Medical Officers (JMOs).This includes the organisation of orientation and ongoing education activities, maintenance of accurate records and databases, coordination of accreditation processes, and compliance with relevant regulatory and organisational standards. The role requires discretion, initiative, and a collaborative approach to support the professional development of JMOs in line with the requirements of HETI, AHPRA, and the NSW Ministry of Health.
