Orange Precision Metalcraft, is a long established company situated in the Central West of New South Wales. The Company is a force in manufacturing engineering. Specialising in works such as special purpose machinery, fabrication, machining and breakdown servicing.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager for a full time, permanent position. You will need to be highly motivated, have excellent leadership and communication skills. We expect you to have sound knowledge in production procedures, with an ability to work within a team environment.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements, Company goals and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Co-ordination of production flow, scheduling and allocation of duties

· Ensuring production deadlines are met

· Co-ordinate preventative maintenance

· Continually seeking improvement of processes

· Analyse production data and trouble shoot problems to improve performance

· Input into recruitment and staff development

· Communicate management intent to production staff

Qualifications & Experience

· Strong organisational and influencing skills and ability to manage time competing deadlines

· Demonstrate an ability to manage production schedules, set priorities, identify and address problems & stay within budgets

· Focused on quality, professionalism and continuous improvement

· Ability to work in a challenging and changing work environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in managing staff

· Ability to work under pressure

· Sound experience with computer skills

· A good knowledge and understanding of WHS

· High level of mechanical aptitude – trade/industry experience
