Assignment Type: 12-Month Contract

Work Schedule:

  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays:

  • Morning: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

  • Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Gas Operations Coordinator to support gas pipeline scheduling and customer communications during weekends and public holidays. This role is critical to ensuring timely gas nominations, operational responsiveness, and effective stakeholder engagement outside standard business hours.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and validate gas nominations and scheduling to meet operational deadlines.
  • Manage intraday nomination changes and late requests from customers.
  • Act as the primary contact via duty phone during rostered hours.
  • Issue customer notices and maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Respond to planned and unplanned pipeline events, coordinating with internal teams and facilities.
  • Provide ad-hoc coverage during extended leave or major operational events.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in contract management, production planning, or energy operations.
  • Familiarity with pipeline scheduling, gas nominations, and industry-specific processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
