DFS Industrial & Environmental Services (DFS) is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated business delivering traffic management, civil construction, stormwater drainage maintenance, waste management services across the state since 2000. As our operations continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Traffic Operations Coordinator to take charge of day-to-day traffic coordination across multiple depots and projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the scheduling, planning, and delivery of traffic management services across DFS projects. You'll work closely with depot teams, clients, and planners to ensure everything runs efficiently, safely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and schedule all traffic management bookings

· Liaise directly with clients to confirm job scopes and respond to queries

· Assist with traffic management planning and review of TMPs

· Scope works to determine traffic management needs for upcoming jobs

· Provide day-to-day support and oversight for depot coordinators

· Ensure resources (staff, vehicles, equipment) are allocated appropriately

· Step in to support depots when required to meet operational demands

What You Need to Succeed

· Minimum 5+ years' experience in traffic management, construction, or local government

· Current AWTM ticket (Advanced Worksite Traffic Management) – Essential

· Manual Driver's Licence – Essential

· Proven leadership and coordination skills

· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

· A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of WA traffic management regulations and best practices
