Role Description

Dr Pickles is on the hunt for a
creative, people-focused Event & Communications Officer
to help grow our brand voice, customer satisfaction, and community relationships across Australia (and beyond (USA, NZ).

We're an Australian-made brand trusted by artists, loved by customers, and seen at the biggest events in tattooing, pop culture, and music. From tattoo expos and festivals to aftercare education and affiliate programs — this role is about connection, storytelling, and making every customer interaction unforgettable.

What You'll Do

  • Be the
    voice and face of the brand
    — manage DMs, comments, and reviews across our socials with personality and care.
  • Coordinate our
    Pro Team and Affiliate network
    — helping artists and ambassadors proudly rep Dr Pickles.
  • Support the planning and execution of
    major events and activations
    — from tattoo expos to music festivals.
  • Assist with
    PR, partnerships, and influencer collaborations
    to grow brand awareness.
  • Work closely with our content and digital marketing teams to ensure everything feels on-brand and consistent.
  • Gather customer feedback and report on engagement trends to help improve satisfaction and loyalty.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Community Engagement

  • Respond to all customer DMs, comments, and reviews across social media and eCommerce channels.
  • Maintain the brand's unique tone of voice and ensure timely, consistent replies.
  • Track and report weekly on engagement sentiment and recurring customer themes.

Affiliate, PR & Pro Team Management

  • Coordinate and maintain Pro Team and Affiliate communications.
  • Assist with onboarding and engagement campaigns for new partners.
  • Support PR and partnership outreach, including influencer collaborations and event media opportunities.

Event Support

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute brand activations across tattoo expos, music festivals, and cultural events
  • Manage event communication, logistics, and promotional materials.
  • Serve as on-site brand representative — engaging customers and collecting content.
  • Compile post-event reports including sales, leads, and customer insights.

Brand Voice & Messaging

  • Draft brand communications including product launch copy, press notes, and social responses.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure message consistency across platforms.
  • Maintain tone-of-voice guidelines and train new staff on communication standards.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track KPIs around engagement, satisfaction, and event performance.
  • Provide weekly summaries to management with actionable recommendations.
