Residential Construction Estimator – Northern Beaches, Sydney, NSW

Salary of minimum $110,000 + Super (rate depending on experience)

We're a Sydney-based residential construction company looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team.

The Role

  • Prepare accurate quotes & tenders for residential builds and renovations
  • Review drawings, specs, and site conditions; liaise with suppliers & subcontractors
  • Track outcomes (quotes won/lost), analyse reasons, and prepare monthly reports
  • Maintain and improve cost libraries, unit rates, and estimating processes

About You

  • Current estimating experience in residential construction
  • Minimum 2-3 years of estimating experience in residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of building methods, materials, and subcontract trades
  • Proficient in estimating software (Groundplan, Cubit or similar) + strong Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, commercially minded, with excellent communication skills
  • (Preferred but not required) Formal qualification in construction or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
