We have an opening for an experienced Business Operations professional to help with overseeing, running and optimising the overall operational functions of our company, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals. A large part of this role will see the candidate working closely with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

• Support the development and execution of long-term strategic initiatives to meet organisational goals.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align strategies across departments and business units.
• Drive change management and transformation efforts to foster innovation and adaptability within the organisation.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall objectives to drive growth and efficiency.

Operational Oversight

• Develop and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for the organisation.
• Coordinate and manage multiple departments towards achieving operational objectives.
• Work with Head of Operations to address operational issues and work to solve them in an effective and timely manner.
• Support senior management in evaluating the efficiency of the business and its operations.
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyse and improve business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across various departments.

Team Leadership and Development

• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop succession planning and talent retention strategies to ensure the growth of the team pipeline.
• Drive the HR process supporting hiring and oversee manager and employee training programs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, operations management, technology, MBA etc.)
• Proven track record of successful business operations role in a similar industry or organisation.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence teams across multiple departments or business functions.
• Excellent (written and verbal) communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of an organisation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring adaptability and multitasking abilities.
