About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Sanctum Harbourtown as a Cafe Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, located in Biggera Waters, QLD. Reporting to the owners, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the cafe and contributing to its continued success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Managing the cafe's staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  2. Overseeing the preparation and service of high-quality food and beverages
  3. Ensuring excellent customer service and a positive dining experience for all customers
  4. Maintaining strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  5. Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability
  6. Analysing sales data and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth
  7. Collaborating with the wider Sanctum Harbourtown team to contribute to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a cafe or restaurant management role
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  4. Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis
  5. Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  7. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
