About Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager (QLD) at Heli Material Handling Oceania in Brisbane. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
What you'll do?
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to expand the customer base.
- Meeting Monthly revenue and Gross Profit targets to ultimately achieve the new business budget for the financial period.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of material handling equipment to potential customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote products and services and enhance brand visibility.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in Sales within the Material Handling industry
- Previous experience handling conflicting priorities and working professionally under pressure in competitive situations
- Excellent Customer Service & Interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy
- Self-Motivated
- Great time management skills and willingness to travel.
